The state results for the Rebecca Caudill Young Readers Award are in. Coming in third was Gordon Korman's book Restart. Second went to Scythe by Neal Shusterman. First place went to the book the UJHS selected at our voting party and in Book Madness: Refugee by Alan Gratz.

Do you owe a library fine? If you donate items to the care packages for Mr. Thorman and Leah Gateley, Mrs. Wickline will take off your fine. Unfortunately, this deal doesn't work for lost books because we have to replace the lost items.

Triple S is sending care packages to two brave individuals who are serving overseas in the military. We are also asking for donations of gum, mints, hard candy, jerky, Mike and Ikes, granola bars, current magazines, and small chocolates, which can be brought to the library. Let's show UJHS cares for our military!

We will be collecting throughout the end of this month.
