Unity West Families, Unity West is currently part of a boil order issued by Illinois American Water Company. The district has provided bottled water for all students, since the water fountains can not be used at this time. The school day continues to go on as normal during the boil order.

Unity West Families, we will utilize our Rainy Day Dismissal procedure today. All bus riders will be dismissed at 2:45. Car riders will stay in their classrooms. When the buses have departed (at about 2:50), we will have all cars go through the bus lane. Please pull down as far as you can, as your child will be called from their classroom when you arrive. Please do not arrive early, as that will cause an even bigger back up than usual. If someone picks up your student for you, please share this information with them. Please do not park in the normal pick-up line!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Unit 7 is seeking a dedicated Social Worker or School Counselor who can truly make a difference for our students, and we’d love your help in finding the right person!
If you or someone you know has experience with at-risk populations, counseling students, and conducting 504 evaluations, we want to hear from you. Our ideal candidate is passionate, compassionate, and ready to be a key player in our school community. Additionally, they must meet the Illinois certification requirements for a school counselor or school social worker.
We’re open to considering a part-time arrangement if that fits someone’s schedule better.
