Any Senior considering Parkland College for next school year should check their school email for information regarding the MANY Parkland Scholarships available. The deadline to apply for these scholarships is 5pm on April 12th, 2026
Anyone interested in trying out for Cheerleading, must attend an informational meeting on Friday, April 17th at 8 am in the library.
Try outs for the Rockettes Dance team are coming up in April. The clinics to learn the routine will be April 20th & April 22nd from 3:15-5:15pm in the HS Gym. Tryouts will be held April 24th at 3:15 pm in the HS Gym.
Juniors and Seniors: Pick up and purchase your prom tickets in Room 11 or Room 17 any time before school from 8-8:15. Cost is $40 and seniors are free, but you still need to pick up your ticket. The required attendance forms to bring a non-Unity student are in the office. The last day to purchase tickets is Friday, April 17th.
Come support your classmates and friends at the annual Fine Arts Festival today. There will be concessions, games, a cupcake walk, and voting on who you think displayed the best art. There will also be a free play in the auditorium at 5PM and 7PM performed by the drama club and Ms. Boyd.
Next week we will celebrate Student Council Week with dress up days each week, including Pajama Day on Monday, Tuesday’s Beach Day, on Wednesday We Wear Pink, Student Council Week Shirt on Thursday, and Friday is Dressing Day, with seniors dressing Ranch, juniors dressing Blue Cheese, Sophomores dressing 1000 Island, and Freshmen dressing Caesar! All outfits must be school appropriate!
There will be lunchtime sales next week, with all items only $1. Look for Oreo balls on Monday, scotcharoos on Tuesday, brownies on Wednesday, and puppy chow on Friday!
Next Thursday is the Great Auction, and we need lots of items to spend the day out of class for a good cause! Encourage your teachers and organizations to get some goodies together and let’s raise more money than we did last year when we had over 90 items! We currently have only 14 items!! We need a lot more than that if we want to raise money!
During the Auction this year we will have a Bags Tournament! Sign up with a partner during lunch hours starting on Friday! $10 per couple with a chance to win $50!
Once again this year, we will have raffle games at our Auction! Each entry costs $1 and you can win up to $50!! We’ve added a lot of new ones this year, so check them out on the televisions around the school! You can buy tickets during lunch hours starting Friday, as well as during the Auction!
Hey Seniors, it’s your year to be superior to all else during the Auction! Bring $5 and a lawn chair to the gym on Thursday, April 16 before school so you can watch the Auction in comfort!
Will Ms. Wolter be the repeat winner of a pie in the face next week? Starting Friday, you can fill the bucket of the teacher you most want to see pied in the face with whipped cream during lunch hours next week!
Those that ordered a Student Council Week shirt can pay in the office this week. Shirts will be in next week, so be sure to pay before you pick up!
