Happy Birthday today: (none)

Today’s Events: (none)

Activity Period: Tuesday- FCCLA

ATTENTION FRESHMEN: the concession schedule for boys' basketball is in Classroom.

Please take some time and sign up for at least 1 shift. Anyone who signs up and works 3 shifts will be placed in a drawing for a $100 gift card.

If you need to code for Classroom, please see Mrs. Bonnell or Mrs. Weaver.

Student drivers: if you park in the student lot, you must have a parking permit filled out and filed in the office. We need to know who has cars in the lot in case of situations such as you left your lights on or your car running (Don’t laugh, that has happened) It doesn’t cost money, just the time to fill it out and returned! Stop in today!!

Do you enjoy mental math or solving interesting problems? We need YOU to join the Unity Math Team! See Mrs. Seiler or your math teacher if you are interested. Practices begin mid-January.

Attention Students!

Deputy James is going to start a new award program called the "Rocket Citizen of the Month". This award will be given to students who do great things inside AND outside of the school building. Inside the school requirements can be things such as being on a sports team, band, choir, student council, FFA, and theater. Outside of the building requirements are things such as holding a part time job, lawn care, babysitting, dog sitting/walking, etc. If you make a contribution towards society and the school district, Deputy James' goal is to award you for your efforts. Additionally, to receive this award, you must have had zero negative contacts with law enforcement, good grades and attendance, along a positive attitude. These awards go to the overall highest caliber of students who are great in multiple areas of their lives, not just one. They set the standard, serving as powerful role models for every student around them. Deputy James will announce a male and female winner every month. The winners for January will be announced tomorrow (01/09). If anyone has recommendations on who may be deserving of this award, please find Deputy James and let him know.
