The University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign Campus is sponsoring a Girls’ Astronomy Summer Camp for 2024. This five-day camp is a great opportunity for local high schoolers to learn about modern astronomy research, computer programming, and to get a chance to observe the night sky. This year’s camp runs from July 22-26. Please check the flier on the hall board by Guidance to find a link and a QR code for more information.
Congratulations to the FFA horticulture team for placing 2nd at the section 17 contest. High individuals include: 6th Molly Baxley, 7th Alex Wells, 9th Maddie Darnall 11th Bailey Wayne, and 12th Paige Brewer.
