Unity Boy's Track & Field started the final week of the indoor season with a team win at the U of I Armory against 13 Teams. 13 Indoor personal records and 1 indoor season-best were achieved last night. Notable performances include: the 4x200 Meet Champions made up of Garrett Richardson, Eric Miebach, Jay Saunders, and Brock Schlittler. Shot Put Runner up Jacob Maxwell. The Meet MVP was Garrett Richardson with a time of 23.37, one of the fastest indoor times in program history. Special mention to Will Cowan who long jumped nearly 19 feet 11 inches in his first varsity indoor meet. You can see the Rockets in action this Saturday at the Indoor Prep Top Times Meet at Illinois Wesleyan University. 

Your Rockets softball team is off to a great start. Returning from Tennessee with a 3-1 record, the Rockets improved to 4-1 after last nights victory over Mahomet. Some highlights from last night include senior, Ashlyn Miller, earning her 3rd win of the year on the mound. Senior, Reece Sarver, getting three hits and two RBI’s. Sophomore, Sophia Beckett, adding two hits. Sophomore, Jenna Adkins, adding two hits. Junior, Ruby Tarr and Sophomore, Chloey Duitsman adding a hit and RBI apiece. Junior Reagan Little and Sophomore, Lindy Bates adding RBI’s. Sophomore, Maegan Rothe, adding a hit. The Rockets beat Mahomet 7-3. Come out to the turf tonight to cheer on the Rockets as they take on the Blue Devils of Villa Grove
