Do you have a talent you want to showcase? This year's Fine Arts Festival is hosting a talent show open to all students of Unity High School. Auditions will be after school on March 9 and 10 in the auditorium and sign-ups are available outside the art room. All talents are welcome, and both solo and group acts are encouraged.
The Student Council shirts are available for pick up in the office. If you have not paid yet, you must do that before you can receive your shirt.
There will be a GSA meeting on Friday, March 10th during Activity Period in Room 5. If you cannot attend, please let Ms. Snodgrass know.
For those seniors attending Parkland College next year, their scholarship portal is now open and applications are due March 31st. Please see Mrs. Decker or Mr. Peterson with any questions.
We are at 54 items for the Great Auction, compared to 122 last year! We need everyone to pitch in to make this year’s a success!
After the first day, Sophomores are winning the chain link race with $33.85, followed closely by the Seniors with $27.09. Trailing behind are the Juniors with $13.10, with fourth place being held by the Freshmen with $2.26. Get your change and bills together and help your class out at lunch today where you can also buy yummy ice cream sundaes for just $2!!
If you take a look around the halls, you’ll see the list of items that will be auctioned off on Thursday! Make some plans with some friends and classmates and make sure to bring your money because we plan on breaking some records on Thursday!!
Seniors, if you’d like to pay $5 to sit in your own bag chair at the auction, you’ll be comfy and in the front of all the action! No rockers or recliners allowed—if you question whether your chair is okay, then it’s probably not, so grab a different one!! You can bring your chairs to the gym on Thursday morning and pay your $5 before setting it up!
Students, please remember that all school rules apply during the Auction on Thursday. Leave your backpacks in your first hour classroom or in your locker, do not bring them to the gym!
Don’t forget to dress up for our first ever Rhyme with No Reason Day! You and your friend can be a chef and a ref, a basketball player and a vampire slayer, or even a fairy and a Harry (Styles)!!
