
Congratulations to Hunter Shike, Taylor Finley, Kaden Inman, Holden Brazelton, Abram Davidson, Ryan Rink, and Hunter Eastin for qualifying for the IHSA Boys Wrestling State Finals. Congratulations are also in order for Anna Vasey and Phoenix Molina, who qualified for the IHSA Girls Wrestling State Finals which will begin on Feb. 28 at Grossinger Arena in Bloomington.
The IHSA Boys Wrestling State Finals will be held this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (February 20-22) at the State Farm Center. Tickets are $10 or $12 per session (5 total sessions) and parking is $15 per day (all day).
Our Unity High School Boys Wrestlers will begin at 12:00 pm on Thursday, and students can be excused after 3rd hour (10:55 am) with a parent phone call prior to the absence. Our UHS Boys Wrestlers will begin at 11am on Friday, and students can be excused for the entire day with a parent phone call. Please call the Main Office with any questions. #GoRockets!


On Tuesday, February 18th, Unity will host Monticello at the Rocket Center. We are going to do a 50/50 that night and also donate all admission to Brenda Keeter (Ron). Brenda has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer and Plasma Cell Leukemia (Blood Cancer). Brenda will be going to Northwestern University Hospital for her treatments and care. She will be required to stay there for weeks/months at a time as she receives treatments.
Brenda has worked for 27 years in the Monticello Superintendent's Office and Ron has worked for Unity Junior High School for 21 years. Please consider supporting this great cause. #GoRockets!


Unity Families: Due to forecasted weather conditions, Unit 7 will be dismissed at 11:30am (11:15am for elementary schools) tomorrow - Wednesday, February 12.

Unity High School is partnering with the Holocaust Education Center to provide an opportunity for the public to view an exhibit entitled How Was It Humanly Possible On Thursday, February 13th from 3:00 - 9:00pm. The exhibit is open to the public and running in conjunction with Parent Teacher Conferences. Volunteers will be on site to provide guided tours, and please see the flyer for more information.

After a recent Girls Basketball game, Unity’s FCA had a huddle with pizza and 7 athletes from the U of I. The athletes talked about their faith and what that looks like as a team member. great opportunity to team building and personal growth. #GoRockets!


Unity Families: All Unit 7 Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 6, due to weather conditions. This will be a "traditional snow day," not an eLearning day. We expect to return to school on Tuesday.
