ONLINE REGISTRATION OPENS July 29, 2024

RETURNING STUDENTS

Families with returning students are able to complete a fully-online registration.

Register by signing into your TeacherEase account.

If you have questions about registration, the Unity East office will be open 7:30am - 2:00pm beginning Monday, July 31.

If you are unable to register online, please schedule an appointment by calling the school.

NEW STUDENTS

Parent(s) or guardian(s) of new students are asked to visit the school to complete registration paperwork and establish guardianship and residency.

Kindergarten students whose families have not already established residency and guardianship also need to schedule an appointment.

Appointments are available on July 31 & August 1 during registration.

Please review guardianship and residency requirements before your appointment.

At the appointment, parents/guardians will complete the following:

  • Establish guardianship of their child by turning in a copy of the birth certificate and social security card for the student showing a photo ID for the parent/guardian.

  • New families verify they live in the district by providing appropriate documentation (click here for more information).

  • Families whose children will ride the school bus sign up for transportation with the bus company representative.

  • The school nurse will be available to discuss medical needs of new students.

Students are welcome at registration appointments, but do not need to attend.

Returning Students: If your child will ride the bus to or from school, contact First Student bus company (217)903-4013 to make any changes. If arrangements are the same as last year, no contact is required.

New Students: Contact First Student bus company (217) 903-4013 to arrange bus transportation and receive information about bus stops and times.

Free & Reduced Lunch Application

If you believe you may be eligible or even if you are uncertain, please complete the application for free/reduced lunch.This information is kept strictly confidential. If you qualify for free breakfast/lunch, the $145 registration fee will be waived.

To apply, a parent must log into their TeacherEase account.

Go to the "Miscellaneous" tab --> Select "Free-Reduced Lunch Application"

Registration Fees

Registration fees will need to be paid through TeacherEase during online registration or dropped off at school.

If you are only dropping off a payment, you do not need to make an appointment.
