Attention Halloween fans: Tolono Fun Day is hosting a Halloween event this Saturday, October 29th. It starts with a golf cart parade at 3 pm, followed by Trunk & Treats at East Side Park. The event will end with fireworks. Look for Unity’s Vocal Rush on the basketball court at 5 pm for a preview of the Fall Showcase. For more information, please check their Facebook page.
Unity’s Fall Showcase will be held Friday, November 4th at 7 pm. Tickets are $10 at the door. Come out to see Vocal Rush, Surreal Sound, and a variety of solos from our own student body. Special guests Mr. Reed, Ms. Jablonski, and Mr. Heist will be performing at the Fall showcase. There will also be a basket raffle with great prizes.
Students: Don’t forget about Student Council’s Thanksgiving Food Drive now through November 10th. During your 1st hour, you should have been given the details. Any questions, please find a Student Council member or Mrs. Meyer. Let’s make this year’s food drive the best one yet!
Sophomores, we have a home playoff game this Saturday. We will need all the help that we can get. Please sign up with Mrs. Bonnell or Mr Heist.
Just a reminder seniors November 1st is Illinois State University and Univeristy of Illinois Urbana/Champaign early action application deadline.
Anyone interested in GSA should attend an introductory meeting tomorrow, October 28th in Room 5.
The theme for the 1st Playoff game this Saturday is Pink Out. Come support the team as they take down the Harrisburg Bulldogs!
Student council will be selling candy during lunch hours Friday and Monday! Only 25 cents gets you 10 pieces!
Unity Girls Basketball will have tryouts next Monday, October 31 and Tuesday, November 1 3:10-5:30 at the Rocket Center. You must attend both days.
