Anyone picking up a yearbook for a graduate, you must sign for it with Mrs. Graves. Additional yearbooks are for sale from Mrs. Graves for $80.  

Attention Halloween fans: Tolono Fun Day is hosting a Halloween event on October 29th.  It starts with a golf cart parade at 3 pm, followed by Trunk & Treats at East Side Park.  The event will end with fireworks. Look for Unity’s Vocal Rush on the basketball court at 5 pm for a preview of the Fall Showcase. For more information, please check their Facebook page..  

 

Unity’s Fall Showcase will be held Friday, November 4th at 7 pm.  Tickets are $10 at the door. Come out to see Vocal Rush, Surreal Sound, and a variety of solos from our own student body. There will also be a basket raffle with great prizes.  

Students: Don’t forget about Student Council’s Thanksgiving Food Drive starting today through November 10th.  During your 1st hour, you should have been given the details.  Any questions, please find a Student Council member or Mrs. Meyer. Let’s make this year’s food drive the best one yet!

There will be a meeting for anyone who would like information about traveling to Greece and/or Australia. This will be in the Auditorium on Wednesday the 26th at 6 PM. Please feel free to join us.

Sophomores, we have a home playoff game this Saturday. We will need all the help that we can get. Please sign up with Mrs. Bonnell or Mr Heist.

The Boys Cross country team had a great race on Saturday at the Shelbyville Regional. The team placed 3rd out of 13 teams! The team was led by Eli Crowe in 18th, Brendan Graven in 19th and Camden Fairbanks in 21st. Carter Tiemann was 4th for the Rockets placing 31st with a 22 second PR. Isaac Ruggieri placed 37th and ALex Mowrer placed 39th. Alex's 39th place finish was the tie breaking place that got the Rockets 3rd rather than 4th! The boys race again at Sectionals on Saturday at Dodds Park in Champaign at 11!

The girls cross country team won the Regional on Saturday in Shelbyville with 7 places in the top 14. Erica Woodard led the Rockets in 3rd, followed by Emily Decker in 4th, Mackenzie Pound in 5th, Olivia Shike in 7th, Cami Reedy in 9th, Raegan Stringer in 11th, and Josie Cler in 14th. Come out and cheer the team on at the Sectional meet on Saturday at 10 AM at Dodd's Park in Champaign!
