Voting for Homecoming King and Queen continues today until 3 PM.  You should have received your ballot via your school email.  If you did not receive a ballot, please contact Mrs. Meyer.  All grade levels can vote for King and Queen.

We certainly are looking like a school full of every type of dress today!  Baggy shorts and tennis shoes to represent our Adam Sandler lovers and boas and platform shoes to show Harry Styles our love!  The Rantoul Eagles will not know what to expect on Friday night!

Tomorrow is Class Color War Thursday!  Seniors will dress in black, juniors in white, sophomores in purple, and freshmen in pink!  Which class will be the color war victors tomorrow?

Tickets for the homecoming dance will be sold during lunch this week in the canteen.  Tickets are $10 for high school students, $5 for all others.  Tickets can be bought at the dance on Saturday night, but it’s easier for you if you have your tickets in advance.

The Homecoming dance will be held in the high school gym from 7 to 9:30 PM on Saturday night.  The doors will open at 6:30 and coronation is at exactly 7:30 PM.  All are welcome to attend the coronation, but the dance is for high school students only.

Student Council will be selling Rocket Pura Vida bracelets in the canteen all next week during lunch.  Bracelets are braided maroon, grey, and white and cost $8.  Show your school spirit and pick one up!

REMINDER:  All parade participants are permitted to TOSS candy to spectators along the parade route.  Any reports of THROWING candy AT onlookers will result in disciplinary action.

Tomorrow the high school gym will be off limits to everyone.  Please access the locker rooms from the outside doors only.

Congratulations to the girls’ cross country team for their Conference Championship last night at Saint Thomas More. Excellent race by Emily Decker with her 3rd place finish, Mackenzie Pound in 5th, Erica Woodard 6th, Oliva Shike 8th, and Cami Reedy 10th with each making the All-Conference team.  Josie Cler won the open race, leading 8 girls in the top 10 of that race. Sophia Stierwalt was 2nd with a lifetime personal record on a tough course. The team will race again on Saturday in Metamora at 9 AM.
