Bus times for softball today: 2:05 dismissal; bus leaves at 2:15.
The cross country teams had a spectacular day on Saturday at the Parkside Invitational. The girls were the team champions and the boys 6th in the 51 team meet. There were just shy of 2,000 runners competing between the 4 races. The girls’ varsity team finished 80 points ahead of second place with an incredible score of 52. Reagen Stringer finished 3rd overall. Erica Woodard finished 6th, Caelyn Kleparski 7th, Olivia Shike 10th, Bri Ritchie 26th, Camryn Reedy 27th, and Josie Cler 86th. In the Girls open out or 570 runners, medalists were Cameron Kaiser 1st, Mackenzie Pound 2nd, Lauren Neverman 19th, and Lauren Shaw 20th. The boys varsity was led by Bryson Denney in 8th place. Bryson was followed by Isaac Ruggieri 44th, Alex Mowrer 57th, Andrew Thomas 64th, and JD Wells 78th. In the boys open out of 701 runners, medalists were Camden Fairbanks 1st, Collin Graven 2nd, and Tyler Henry 6th.
This week's Career Cafe will feature Sarah Hurst who is the area Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. If you are interested in sports, working for a non-profit organization, and/or working with child or youth this Career Cafe is for you. Sign-up sheets will be available starting Tuesday before school on the library windows.
