The Annual Volley for A Cure match is tonight, October 14th against Pontiac in the Rocket Center. JV starts at 6pm and the Varsity match will follow. Come support your UHS Volleyball team and help raise money to fight breast cancer. Purchase and enjoy sweet treats at the bake sale, buy 50/50 tickets, or bid on items in the Silent Auction for the chance to win a $250 gift card to Rocket Motors for a full vehicle detail, a $50 gift card to Overtime, or even 2 Illini Football Tickets among other great items. Your UHS Pep Band and Banner Singers will be performing as well. The money raised goes to support The Mills Breast Cancer Institute in Urbana. Remember to wear PINK!
Ever needed a snack or an emergency stick of deodorant? The Rocket Locker has exactly what you need! Any student can stop by between classes or before/after school to get things like: snacks, clothing, or hygiene items. This is a no-questions-asked system, so any students who find themselves in need of food, clothing, or supplies may take what they need when they need it.
Picture retake day will be Tuesday, October 19th. If you need an order form, please visit the desk inside the library doors.
The Student Section themes this week are Pink Out for Volleyball and Costumes for Football. Support the girls in raising funds for Breast Cancer Awareness against Pontiac and cheer on the boys for their last home game and Senior Night against PBL!
Attention football fans: Playoff apparel can be now ordered in the office. There will only be 1 order. The deadline to place your order is Monday, October 18th at 1:00 pm!
Any junior or senior interested in the U of I Agricultural and Biological Engineering or Engineering Technology and Management for Agriculture Systems may sign up in the guidance office for a presentation on Friday, October 15th during 7th hour.
