Anyone interested in reading the Daily Bulletin for the 2021-2022 school year, please stop by the office for more information.  There is one spot available.

 

Attention Rockets: The Unity Marching Band is looking for members to join the 2021/2022 Color guard program. If you're interested in the fine arts or are looking to try something new, please stop by the band room before the end of this school year and talk to Mr. Cardiff anytime. All students and grade levels are welcome. You don't have to be in band or have any prior experience to be in color guard to join. If you're not sure what color guard is, please stop and ask Mr. Cardiff for more information. Thank you.

 

Don’t forget to check the Lost and Found for anything you have lost.  The larger items are on the table in front of the cafeteria; smaller items like glasses, small electronics, jewelry,or keys are in the office.

 

The girls track and field team claimed another Invite Championship on Friday at the Unity Invitational.  The Rockets outpaced the field with 108 points.  Leading the way for the Rockets were Caelyn Kleparski 2nd in the 800, Olivia Shike 3rd in the 3200, Bri Ritchie 2nd in the 300 hurdles, Audrey Remole 2nd and a 3rd in the High and Triple Jumps, The relay team of Kayla Nelson, Shannon Flavin, Kyleigh Weller and Lauren Miller won both the 4x1 and 4x2, the 4x400 team of Arianna Pruitt LeFaivre, Audrey Remole, Olivia Shike, and Caelyn Kleparski took 2nd, While Pruitt LeFaivre, and Kleparski teamed up with Elizabeth Hulick and Caroline Bachert to take 3rd in the 4x800.  The Rockets also swept the throwing events with Aly Bagwell winning the shot put and Gracie Cox winning the discus.  Gracie's winning throw of 138'1" was a new meet record and a new school record.  It was also the 3rd farthest throw in the state this year.  The girls will be home again tomorrow afternoon as they try to win the Illini Prairie Conference Championship.
