Students interested in taking an AP Exam should sign up in the Guidance Office. The cost per exam is $94 and is due at sign up. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Mills. 

Unity Baking Club will be selling Baking Club t-shirts! No need to be part of the club to represent! If you are interested please see Ms. Cler to check out the design and place an order. Orders are now due on November 8th and cost $15.

Juniors and Seniors: Truman State University will be visiting Unity on November 11th. Sign up in the Guidance Office to meet with this representative. 

The Thanksgiving Food Drive in under way!  Remember to bring in non-perishable, non-expired food to your first hour class!  The first hour class that brings in the most weight per student will win a breakfast for the entire class!

The Unity FFA Chapter is partnering with Operation Gratitude in candy collection for the Troops overseas.  We are accepting donations through November 6th.  Your candy can be dropped off in the office at any Unit 7 school or given to an FFA member.  All candy is accepted except Pixie Sticks.

Anyone interested in wrestling, please see Coach Patton for a practice schedule.

If you are interested in joining the Bowling team, there will be a meeting on Tuesday, November 5th at 8 am in the HS gym.                                                

Girls’ Basketball Tryouts will be today, November 4th at the Rocket Center from 3:15-5:30 pm.

The boy’s cross country team had an impressive 4th place finish at sectionals on Saturday to qualify for the state meet edging out several state-ranked teams.  Placing for the Rockets was Ben Gavel-16th, Jarrett Cox-18th, Connor O’Donnell-26th, Derek Dayton-48th, Brendan Graven-54th, Thomas Cler and Clayton Jamison. 

The girls team also moves on to the state finals with their 2nd place sectional finish.  Kylie Decker led with an excellent 4th place overall and Caroline Bachert also earned all-sectional status in 10th place. The Rockets were packed tight with Elizabeth Hulick in 13th, Audrey Remole in 21st, and Taylor Joop in 22nd.  Evy Atkins and Malia Fairbanks finished 31st and 39th to complete the team race.  

Good luck to both teams at state this Saturday in Peoria at Detweiller Park!  The girls race is at 9 a.m. and the boys will race at 10 a.m.
