Activity Period: Thursday-Student Council; Friday- Drivers’ Ed meeting

Rotary is sponsoring a writing contest for high school students. The First Place Prize is $500, and the Second Place Prize is $250. The deadline for submitting entries is September 21. Please stop by the office to pick up a Registration Form and Guidelines, if interested in this contest.

Thinking about a hands-on career?  Parkland is hosting a Career Exploration Night, Wednesday September 4th from 4-6pm.  Visit parkland.edu/CTECareernight for more information.

Juniors and Seniors: College representatives will begin visiting Unity soon. Sign up in the Guidance Office to meet with the college of your choice. Remember you must sign up in order to participate.  Tuesday, September 3rd: Indiana State Wednesday, September 4th: Illinois College Thursday, September 5th: Blackburn College

Junior Class Officers: you will have a meeting on Wednesday, September 4 in room 5 at 8 AM.

Students with driving permits who will turn 16 between now and the end of November, please meet in the Drivers’ Ed room 72 on Friday at 8 am.

Attention Sophomores:  Please sign up to help with concessions for THIS FRIDAY NIGHT.  The sign up sheet is in Mrs. Ingold's classroom. 

For a limited time the sophomore concession stand will be selling Unity travel mugs at home football games.  Get yours while they last! 

Are you interested in learning more about careers in Family and Consumer Sciences?  Do you want to learn ways to volunteer in your community?  If so, FCCLA may be right for you! Come to our informational meeting Sept 10th at 7:50 in room 18 to find out more!

After a very tight race, let us congratulate the Class of 2023 officers!  President Roger Holben, Vice President Caleb Amias, Secretary Sophia Stierwalt, and Treasurer TBA.

Freshmen who would like to run for student council may pick up a petition in the office or outside room 7.  These are due on Wednesday, September 4th.  Come join a great club that does a lot for the school!  If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Meyer.
