Unity Rocket WYSE Team Information

Sectional are held at Eastern Illinois University, Thursday March 9, 2006.

State competition is held at the University of Illinois, Champaign, Tuesday, April 4, 2006.

What in the World is WYSE??

The WYSE competition involves taking two timed tests in the subject areas indicated below.  The competitions (regional, sectional, and state) are on school days.  The tests begin in the morning and are finished by noon.  Then we eat lunch on campus and await test results.  We usually return by the end of the school day.

The WYSE competition is an enjoyable event for students like you who enjoy being academically challenged.  It also looks great on scholarship and college applications.  I strongly encourage your participation and look forward to preparing you for the WYSE competition.

2005-2006 Team Selection

All team members must TRYOUT for the team by taking sample tests in their subject areas.  Any student may take a sample test in any subject area, but can only compete in two areas.  The team will be chosen by taking the top two scores from each subject area.  Fourteen people will comprise the team.
