Classroom Expectations                    Mrs. Seiler

 

 

1.  Be on time for class/Stay in seat until final tone.

 

a.  All students are expected to be in class on time everyday.  All students will be in their assigned seat when the bell sounds.  Students will not loiter around the room or just be entering the room as the bell sounds.

         

b.  All students will remain in their seats until the final bell has sounded.  We will not line up at the door.

 

2.  Be prepared for class.

 

a.  Students will bring book, paper, pen/pencil, other supplies, and completed homework on a daily basis.  Participation points will be deducted if materials are not present.

 

3.  Participate.

         

a.  All students are expected to keep their heads up and eyes and ears tuned toward the speaker. 

 

b.  All students are expected to respectfully ask questions whenever they have a question.  I cannot help you with a question unless you ask.

 

c.  All students are expected to volunteer to write and explain problems at the board to fellow classmates.

 

d.  During group activities, every individual will contribute to the group effort and be prepared to respond.

 

4.  Be respectful to others.

 

a.  Students will not talk while instruction is being given or while a classmate is explaining a problem.

 

          b.  Students will leave the classroom neat and orderly.
