Unity High School Marching Band
	On Wednesday February 27, 2008 the Unit 7 School board voted to purchase 60 uniforms for marching band.  The Music Boosters followed their lead with the purchase of uniforms and flags for the color guard along with a new podium.   The new Rocket Marching Band's debut performance was on Friday August 29th after a nearly 20 year absence from Hicks Field.   The Band performed their opener, concert and drum solo to a standing ovation by the Rocket Nation. Unity High School Invitational Marching Band Contest 2009 "Collage"	The Band performs a pre-game show that will include the Dance Team and Cheerleaders.  Pre-game show will present the familiar Unity logos, and a tunnel for our team to "take the field".  The band will play in the stands for the first half as has been the tradition since the first band football performance.  At Half-time the "Rocket Band" will take to the field again for their half-time performance.  The "Show" uses movement and music as the medium with the football field as the stage.  The band will perform one show with the goal of increased perfection with each performance.  The Dance Team will be performing their half-time routine to music in our show.  The Rocket Marching Band will then exit the field after "trooping the stands.
