It is challenging for small school bands to establish themselves in activity of competitive marching band.  "Collage" is designed to fit the needs of the small school or developing marching band.  Our contest is specifically  structured for the novice, rebuilding and small school marching bands.  We have a positive atmosphere at our contest focused on an educational experience.  Each band will have special, individual announcements that include any program, show, or personal information that the band may request along with historical information on each music program.  "Collage" will have full concessions so that your band can relax after their performance.  Our goal is to promote the marching music activity at every school.

Judging: 6 judges

   3 Show Judges (Music, Marching and Maneuvering & General Effect)
    1 Color Guard
    1 Percussion
   1 Drum Major


Trophies
        (For the award presentations Drum Majors from participating school will      
            be played onto the Field by Unity Drum Line)
    1st, 2nd & 3rd Place for Class
    1st, 2nd & 3rd Drum Major
    1st, 2nd & 3rd Color Guard
    1st, 2nd & 3rd Percussion

    "Special Caption" Trophies
        Drill Design
        Creative Concept
        High Demand
    No one band will receive more than one special caption trophy.


We will be requesting information about each participating band by e-mail. 
We will be making special announcements for each band as they enter and exit the field of performance. 
We will include information on school location, conference and IHSA enrollment.
