 Color Guard |
The Guard is an extra- curricular activity that performs with the band for marching performance events. The Guard uses the design of their flag, uniform selection, and body movement to provide the music performance with color and interest. |

| Tonya
Ayers is the Color Guard Instructor at Unity High School. Tonya designs
the flag choreography, the flag work, teaches the flag work and
rehearses the Color Guard during the summer marching band week and
every Tuesday through the football season. She also selects and
designs all flags for our show. |

| We now have 15 members in the Color
Guard and their first performance was a good one. We will now add
the closer to the show and flag work to the concert selection, "Lady
Madonna". |

| Watch as the Guard adds new things to
each routine every performance. This year we have 5 separate flag
sets and will change "silks" (flags) 3 times during the show. We
use "flats" to hide our flag changes and add dimension to the show
design. |
