About Mr. Tim Gateley:
     Mr. Gateley is beginning his thirteenth year in education and his first at Unity High School.  His career in education includes having been a classroom teacher for eight years, an instructional technology specialist for four years, a head track and field coach and assistant football coach, an assistant principal, and beginning in August of 2003, the Assistant Principal at Unity High School.  He is an alumnus of Eastern Illinois University, graduating in 1989 with a Bachelor's Degree in English.  While at Eastern Illinois University, he was a four-time all-conference selection and is currently fifth on the all-time record board as a long jumper.  Mr. Gateley earned his Masters of Arts in Education degree from Governors State University in 1999.
     Mr. Gateley is a member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals, Illinois Principals' Association, and the Tolono Masonic Lodge.  He is married to his wife, Susanne, of twelve years, and has two children, Kyle, age eight, and Leah, age four.
     He enjoys spending time with he wife and children, vacationing with family, hunting and fishing with family and friends, an making Unity High School a wonderful place to get a quality education.
