ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME NOMINATION

Any Unity High School graduate, teacher and/ or coach, living or dead, may be nominated. In addition, friends and or contributors to the success of the athletics programs at Unity High School may also be nominated and will be considered in the friends of Unity High School category. Three (3) living and one (1) posthumous candidate are selected. The high school graduation date of a candidate must be at least ten (10) years prior to induction.

The selection process will begin in February each year and culminates in the choices being made in May, with the induction ceremony in September at the annual Homecoming Football game.

A great deal of time and effort is taken in gathering background and support information of those potential Athletic Hall of Fame inductees prior to any decision being made. Family, friends, newspapers and media are consulted prior to the decision being made.

All nominations are kept on file and applicants do not need to re-submit them.
